Pray.Send.Go

“Pray.Send.Go” is our overall vision for missions, both long term and short term. As a church, we would love to see everyone “Go,” however we realize that not everyone can go. “Pray.Send.Go” allows everyone a chance to get involved in the missions process. It’s simple!

Pray

“Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” Matthew 9:38.

Everyone can get involved in the missions process through prayer. You can pray for missionaries, pray for resources, vision, direction, soft hearts, the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. No matter where you are or what your financial status, YOU can pray.

Send

“And whoever gives one of these little ones only a cup of cold water in the name of a disciple, assuredly, I say to you, he shall by no means lose his reward.” Matthew 10:42

Perhaps you would love to be involved in missions, but for whatever reason you are unable to travel. Along with prayer, you can get involved by being a sender. You can invest your treasure in Heaven by helping offset the costs of a short term missions team directly or give to Calvary Chapel West Houston missions generally.

Go

As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” Acts 13:2

Step of Faith

Lastly, you can take a step of faith and GO on a short term mission trip or begin the process of discipleship to go into the mission field long term. It makes no difference how you choose to get involved, but we are commanded by Jesus to get involved in the missions process. We encourage you to obey Him.

Acts 16:9-10
“And a vision appeared to Paul in the night. A man of Macedonia stood and pleaded with him, saying, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” Now after he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go to Macedonia, concluding that the Lord had called us to preach the gospel to them.”
