Program Summary
The Care Ministry exists to show the love of Christ by serving those in our church family
who at times find themselves in need of specific assistance. Areas to serve are….
Daily Bread Ministries
Meal Train: provide a daily family meal to those who have encountered a life- changing event (provide, prepare and deliver a dinner meal).
Food Basket: provide an immediate food supply to a family in need (food pantry stocking, assemble a food basket).
Helping Hands Ministries
Fix-it: provide physical assistance for minor home repairs or lawn maintenance, to those unable to perform such tasks due to current personal situation. Provide crisis response help in event of home fire or flood.
Transportation: provide transport service to those with a transportation issue (to/from church service or event, medical appointment, grocery/drug store).
Healing Hearts Ministries
Bereavement: provide spiritual comfort at time of loss of a loved one (assist if requested with loved one’s memorial service).
Visitation: provide spiritual comfort, counsel, and encouragement to affected person or family (visit to hospital, convalescence facility, hospice center, or home).
We are encouraged to love one another.
